SubVampire Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

SubVampire collects no personal information. The app operates entirely on your device and does not communicate with any external servers for the purpose of data collection.

All subscription data you enter or scan is stored locally on your device using on-device storage (AsyncStorage) or within your private iCloud storage if you enable iCloud Sync. This data never leaves your device or your private Apple accounts.

2. On-Device Processing

All OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and text parsing is performed locally on your device using Apple's native frameworks. No images or text from your screenshots are sent to any cloud service.

3. iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you choose to enable iCloud Sync, your subscription data will be synchronized across your own Apple devices using Apple's iCloud service. This data is stored in your private iCloud Key-Value store. We do not have access to this backup, and it is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. GDPR Consent & Privacy Rights (EEA Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we are required to obtain your consent before personalizing ads. SubVampire uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present a GDPR-compliant consent form at first launch.

• You may choose to accept or decline personalized advertising.
• If you decline, ads may still appear but will be non-personalized (contextual only).
• You can manage or withdraw your consent at any time in the app's Settings → Privacy & Ads.

Under GDPR, you also have the right to access, correct, or delete data held about you. As SubVampire does not collect personal data directly, such requests would be directed to our third-party partners (Google AdMob) per their own privacy policies.

5. Apple Tracking Transparency (ATT)

On iOS 14.5 and later, SubVampire requests permission to use your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA) to deliver personalized ads. A system dialog will appear on first launch.

• If you grant permission, personalized ads may be shown via Google AdMob.
• If you deny, only non-personalized ads will be shown.
• You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking.

6. Analytics and Advertising

The free version of SubVampire displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect data as described in their own privacy policy. We have no access to this data.

7. In-App Purchases

SubVampire Pro is available as an in-app purchase through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information.

8. Third-Party Services

• Google AdMob (free tier only): May serve ads and collect anonymized usage data per Google's policies.
• Apple App Store: Manages purchases per Apple's privacy policy.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services.

9. Children's Privacy

SubVampire is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
